On Thursday, my son graduated from high school. I'm so proud of him. I'm so thankful that I got to watch him walk across that stage. Also thankful my mother got to see him too. As well as my nephew, niece, his father, other mother (step is a bad word) and little sister. We are all proud of him.
He's in Los Angeles with me now and tomorrow morning we register him in college for the summer session. I'm looking forward to this next chapter. And so is he.

I give thanks for you.
For your kindness, patience and
ease. The self you bring.

Your poetry makes
me want to write words of my
own. Paint canvas bright.

A poem a day for 2015 - for day 119 - Space
I am not always
happy. But I am always
free. And that is pie.
happy. But I am always
free. And that is pie.
