Giving thanks today for waking up
For seeing the sun
I am thankful for my son
For my friends and family
Thankful that my mother is feeling much better today
I am thankful for peace and ease
For the love, protection and grace surrounding my son
And all the children in my life
I am thankful for the care of DeJohn today in hospital
I am thankful for the calm of his mother
I am thankful to be available to her as friend
I am thankful for trees
For water and sky
For life
