I am thankful for this day
For this evening
For friends who love me
For an evening of laughter and food with friends
I am thankful for the energy to leave home
Though I did not want to
I am thankful for the pull
I am thankful for fog lifted
For faith
For honesty about where I was
Thankful even for the fog that came
For knowing that fogs do leave
I am thankful for life
For my life
I am thankful for my son
For my family
I am thankful for creativity
For ease
For preparation for good rest now
