Big world

We have to see the world as bigger than just our blocks, our cities, our states. We have to erase dotted and bold lines drawn on maps and see every citizen on this planet as neighbor, kin and ourselves. There are no bombs falling way over there. There are no girls missing way across the sea. There are no starving children somewhere else. The distance we create in our vocabulary allows us to separate ourselves from ourselves. It anywhere is it wherever we are. Whatever it is.
