Gratitude

I am thankful for this day
For waking up this morning
I am thankful for my son
For his health and strength
For love and compassion
I am thankful for the energy to walk seven miles a day
For the past five days in a row
I am thankful for the plan to do it today
After my visit from doctor
I am thankful for doctors and the ability to see one
I am thankful for art
For words and stories
For the creativity that I am blessed with
I am thankful for moments
For knowing that moments pass
I am thankful for joy
