Movie
The plan today was to see Fruitvale Station, the movie about the last twenty-four hours of Oscar Grant, a black young man killed by police officer in Northern California. Somehow there was a mixup on the movie location and we ended up seeing White House Down with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. I was with my mother, son and nephew. I did enjoy hearing my mother cheering throughout the movie. Hearing her laugh and seeing her smile was the joy I needed on this day when the reality of Fruitvale might have been too much.
