Hawa Akhter
Only twenty-one years old
Was blindfolded by her husband
Had her mouth taped shut
Had her fingers cut off her right hand
By her husband
As punishment for pursuing higher education
And Hawa will climb
Moved in with her parents
Will write with her left hand
I can't write a poem about this
Not yet
Maybe not ever
I can only call out her name in this post
