Gratitude

I am thankful for this day
How the sunlight rests easily in my space
I am thankful for the long walk I am preparing for before work
I am thankful for my son
For my friends and family and the blessing they are to me
The blessing I get to be to them
I am thankful for words and grace
For beauty and ease and art
I am thankful for health and strength
For food and shelter
I am thankful for life
So thankful for life
And for the really good rest last night
I am thankful for seeing my paternal grandparents in my dream last night
Though I am still unaware of the meaning, their faces were enough
I am thankful for enough
