Lessons I've learned (one for every year)

1. Trust God.
2. When you have to choose between being right and being kind, be kind.
3. Always tell the truth. If you think it will hurt, tell it kindly.
4. When you can, clean up where you messed up.
5. Wake up asking how you can serve.
6. Listen more. Even when you don't agree.
7. Go for a walk when you're feeling stressed or feel like snapping at someone close to you.
8. Keep active with your hobbies.
9. Clean the clutter out of your closets.
10. Read.
11. Make time for art.
12. Write a letter / note to someone you love. Send it.
13. Get outside everyday.
14. Give something away everyday.
15. Honor yourself.
16. Make a list of everyone you feel has done you wrong. Forgive them.
17. Go to comedy shows as often as you can.
18. Tell someone you love that you love them.
19. Dance and smile even if you think you look silly.
20. Dance with the next person who asks you to dance.
21. Let someone see the part of your body you're most uncomfortable with.
22. Don't judge anyone for anything for a whole day. Repeat.
23. Focus on what you what.
24. Travel light.
25. Eat less.
26. Drink more water.
27. Stay away from fast food joints.
28. Meditate and pray before you do anything.
29. Empty your email junk.
30. You don't always have to have something to say.
31. Keep a journal.
32. Give up the worry over worry. the worry over money. the worry over stuff.
33. Pray with someone.
34. Make a gift for someone.
35. Tell a family member or someone close to you what you are really going through.
36. Clean someones home / work space.
37. Go for a walk. Take your camera with you.
38. When you're angry with someone, imagine how it must be to be them dealing with you.
39. Look at yourself naked, laugh, then walk around the house smiling.
