For conversations with friends last night
For my son, my family, friends
I am thankful for peace and ease
For God and all God's love and forgiveness
I am thankful for freedom
For art
For gifts given and received
I am thankful for God's grace disguised as coincidence
For stiff bones reminding me to drink water

I am thankful for laughter
I am thankful for the protection of my children
My son, niece, nephew, cousins, friends
I am thankful for their safety
For God's hand over their heads
I am thankful in advance for an easy journey tonight
And blessed and safe return
