Yuri. Chosen family. Work.

Yay! Yuri is in town! I've known Yuri for many years and have had tremendous love for her since day one. We know each other from The World Stage. She called me this morning and we had coffee at a Starbucks in Culver City. Hopefully she will be able to make it to Conney's party tonight so we can continue hanging out.

Yuri is my sister. No not my bio sis but I love her like one. She is chosen family. Chosen is just as important and even more in some cases. I can trust her, I am emotionally safe, I am the me I love with her.

Unfortunately she is here for a memorial service. She's had more memorial services than anyone I know. Her father passed, then her brother, then her mother. That's her whole immediate family. That's a lot. I did get a picture of us together but it's on my Facebook and Instagram pages. One day I'll have a computer and I can load pics here, but until then, catch me over there.

It's 4:45pm now so I'm about to go into work. I hope I have a good shift tonight. Hopefully my client is in a good mood. Fingers crossed. Have a good night.
