It's an old saying really
My grandmother said it
Maybe yours too
About dogs and bones 


And you

Told me intimate details of her life 
Things I shouldn't know
And if you would tell me her secrets
Then you would tell her 
Or someone else mine

You are the dog my grandmother warned me about
Bringing and carrying bones
