I've been posting random quotes from rap artist for some reason. The kick I get out of it is posting their names as first initial then last name like S. Dogg, M. 10. You know. So today I posted "Knocked kneed bimbos walkin' like hoes." Sir M. Alot. Now for those of you who don't know, that's a line from Sir Mix Alot's song "Baby got back" and here was the following conversation:
KQ: lol..sounds so raw out of context
Me: i know thats why i like it next to "sir m." but then im dumb
KQ: You can have them bimbos I'll keep my women like Flo Jo (another quote from Sir M.)
Me: i should start printing out rap lyrics as poetry. sans beat, videos, booties, breasts, bling.
KQ: lol its so funny when you see it in print...or hear it out of context...tiy def should...Im gonna start reciting partial lyrics in random conversations because I'm long and I'm strong And I'm down to get the friction on. (another Sir M. quote, and the best ever by the way)
Me: If you walk up to someone and say "I'm long and I'm strong and I'm down to get the friction on" then please please please let me be there. please. especially if its so righteously out of context like at a drive through or a bank or some dumb shit like that. again. please
KQ: LOL will do
Me: sometimes i get depressed and its hard thanna mug to get out of bed to do the simplest things. seriously. real talk. doesnt happen like all the time, but enough. anyway im working on it and claiming it as part of my past but during those times i have to hold on to small shit to get me out of bed like, oh, tomorrow ima wear my vote for pedro t shirt with my adidahhhhhs and some pink lip gloss. aint nobody better, son! anyway all that to say that if i ever ever get down again ima hold on to that i will one day get to hear you quote sir m in the most wrong way ever. (dear jaha, get off of facebook. seriously)
KQ: glad to be a part of your happiness
