Banks. White girls. Movie.

9:30am. Palmdale. The movie about Brian Banks comes out today. I really want to see it. It's the story of a boy who attended Long Beach Poly, my alma mater, and was falsely accused of raping a white girl. He was seeking a football career but went to jail instead. I don't remember how many years he spent in jail. Later the girl confessed that she lied. He is out of jail now and has also been contacted by an American football organization (I forgot which one) to play for them. I'm glad that he gets to still live out his dream of playing football but this is not a happy story. He shouldn't have gone to jail in the first place. Another case of white woman's tears killing or jailing our people. This has been going on since before Emmett Till. I don't have anything against interracial dating or marriage and my son knows this. I do have a fear of him dating a white woman because of situations like Brian's though. Way too many times to count white girls and women scream rape when their parents find out that they are with black boys / men. It's not so much the woman I am concerned about as much as it is her family. I don't even want to think about that. So anyway, if I see it I want to see it in L.A. Maybe I'll go down there early tomorrow before I go to work. We'll see. Well, have a good day all. I intend to.
