Caregiver memories
When I used to work for a home health care agency I had a client who was a ninety-nine years old white woman. As racist as they come. Once we took a ride on a Access van to her appointment at a hospital. When we returned to her apartment complex she kept trying to get the driver, a black man, to park and let us out in front of the driveway. He ignored her and told me he couldn't block the driveway. She said "Oh, you don't understand me? I'll say it in your language. Park rat cheer!" Yes she did.
