L. A. Meeting. Poetry.

8:57am. George's. I had a good time last night. We had a rent party for Lala at The World Stage. Really it was a mortgage party. We were able to pour love and money and inspiration to her. She is someone who always supports our community and it felt great being able to support her. We got on the mic and shared really vulnerable stories. I love our family.

Today I have a writing meeting in Pasadena that I actually need to hurry and get on the road to before I'm late. I look forward to writing with the guys today. It's been a few weeks since I met with them. Tonight I am featuring at a spot in Leimert Park that Kooki is hosting. After my meeting today I'm going to come back here to George's place and touch up some paintings that I want to sell. Well, I better get going. I hope you have a good day.
