For the art on my wall the first thing I see

For a dream so easy I don't remember

For a life loaded with blessings

I am thankful for my arms and hands

My feet and legs and toes

For my body

For the ways it is beautiful

For the ways I come to love its scars

I am thankful for patience

For deep breaths and short naps

For being clear

Being loving

I am grateful for all the ways God is good to me

For God's generosity

God's kindness and grace

I am thankful for words and art

Thankful my needs and desires are met

For joy, love and abundance
